Career Dialogue

It’s been a month since I wrote recommended movies and series for quarantine. I’m not a freshman anymore, so maybe I want to write something on my blog more often than my freshman year. Now I have to study more than last year for preparing my college, I want to more focus on my study. And without any further ado, this is my English task for writing about suggestion and offer in dialogue.

Tom who has graduated from his college one week ago, met his long lost high school friend Paul at the park while he strolled in the city park.

Tom: Wait, Paul?. Do you remember me?

Paul: Oh God, you’re Tom, right?

Tom: Yeah bro, we haven’t met yet since we were in high school, I thought you don’t remember me

Paul: No, of course, I remember you, we used to play in a band together remember?

Tom: Yeah, those old times. Do you have some time? My house is near this park, I thought you could come there with me, it’s like a little reunion.

Paul: Sure, Why can I don’t have time for my friend, I always do.

Tom asked Paul to go to his house to have a talk.

Tom: So, Paul what do you want to eat, I could cook you some. Would you like to eat pancakes and coffee for drinks?

Paul: Sure, I’d love to eat that

Tom: By the way Paul, now what did you do for a living?

Paul: Now I’m just designing some client's buildings or places.

Tom: What, you mean you are now an architect?, I remember now, in high school you want to be an architect right?

Paul: You still remember that?. Yes, I’m now an architect, now what you do for a living?

Tom: Well, I’m just a fresh graduate, I don’t have a job right now, I just graduated from my college last week.

Paul: Congrats on that, what subject did you take? wait let me guess, arts right?

Tom: Yeah, I enroll in arts in college.

Paul: So you can draw or paint right?, can I see your painting?

Tom: Sure, no problem

Tom brings Paul to his studio in his house for viewing Tom’s painting.

Paul: Wow, your painting is spectacular bro. I think you should sell it to a museum or collector

Tom: Yeah about that, I’m not that confident for selling my painting. I’m afraid they don’t like my painting.

Paul: No Tom, You should be more confident in your painting. Tom, can I ask you something?

Tom: Sure Paul.

Paul: Would you like to work in my place? they need a new person for graphic design division. The requirement for the job is a fresh graduate from arts subject, just like you.

Tom: Let me think about it today ok, I’ll email you my cv when I want to take the job asap ok.

Paul: Ok. So, I got to pick up something at my work, I’ll wait for your decision. Bye, see you later.

Tom: See you later bro.
